About Brandon

Brandon Jarrett
Film and Television Composer, Songwriter, and Music Producer
With more than 50 film scores to his name, Brandon’s work can be heard across platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Starz, and Hallmark Channel. His hybrid scoring style, shaped by his background in writing and producing pop records, enables him to seamlessly combine orchestral and electronic elements with memorable melodies. This versatility also extends to songwriting and record production, where he has collaborated with artists such as Ashley Argota Torres (All American, The Fosters) and Amber Montana (Netflix’s Spirit, Nickelodeon’s The Haunted Hathaways).
In July 2025, Brandon’s artistry was recognized with the Best Adult Contemporary Song award at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards, for a track co-written with his friend and mentor Allan Rich, Grammy-nominated songwriter behind timeless hits for Whitney Houston, NSYNC, and Chaka Khan. This milestone is bringing attention to his gift for emotionally powerful storytelling through music.
A trusted creative partner, Brandon thrives on elevating the artistry of those around him. He believes the best idea always wins, listens first to filmmakers’ visions, and delivers cues on time or early to ensure music is never a production roadblock but always a force for elevating the story.
A lifelong musician raised in an entertainment family, Brandon was immersed in music and performance from childhood. By age ten, he was already studying multiple instruments and apprenticing in professional studios as a teenager. Those roots continue to shape his approach today: blending discipline with curiosity and tradition with innovation.
Above all, Brandon’s passion for music is deeply personal. It is only rivaled by the love he holds for his wife, daughter, and two sons. When he’s scoring a film, producing a track, or writing a song for picture, he sees the music as an unseen character in the story that allows him to reveal emotion, embody perspective, and connect deeply with audiences.
